History
In 1982 coming out of a very small high school into my first year of college I began working at 3M assembling cardio vascular products in a clean room which evolved to a co op position detailing cardio vascular products writing computer programs and systems administration. In that short time I was exposed to many new things and enjoyed the variety and (most of) the people I met along the way.
As many do, I moved over to the glitz of an automotive position and was happiest designing products. Luckily my employer was a major supplier of parking brakes, shifters and latches and learned tips from a great mentor on how to truly design a complex mechanism from a few mounting points and contact location.
Always having an urge to be an entrepreneur, we started an engineering service company in 1995 specializing in mechanisms and adjustable pedals which ran successfully until the great fall of the country in 2009. For those 15 years, we worked with OEM's and numerous tier 1/2/3 clients with many successful product launches. Since that time I have continued to support old and some new clients while working as an employee for companies in electric vehicle and battery pack development.
Through my life I have connected with many people and suppliers I respect and deeply want to contribute their tribal knowledge that is often dismissed by their previous or current employers. I have seen this lack of empowerment and trust lead to the demise of the company. My goal is to connect open minded companies with this vast group of knowledge that AI is not capable of capturing while continuing to enjoy the relationships I built with them.
